Monday Morning Blog: “When Personal Self-Righteousness Becomes A Block To God’s Perfect Will”

A necessary use of the iPhone 5 by business people is the notification center that is programmed into the system software. God has also programmed into your Holy Spirit an interface that operates in your belly. It is a notification center that is very sophisticated, yet few people use its powerful application daily.
If you are filled with the Holy Spirit you can program this notification center very easily and start operating with it immediately. St. Peter put it this way, in 1 Peter 5:7 ~ “Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” This simply means that when you think about a problem you need to simply say, “Jesus, will You please take care of this problem?” By doing this you turn the application off that is causing you to worry, and immediately the problem is programmed into the Holy Spirit’s notification center.
The purpose of this notification center is to not only warn you when it is time to do something about the problem, but it immediately commissions an entire army and work force of angels to begin working on fixing the problem so completely, so matter-of-factly, that you become entirely fixed and never have to deal with the problem again in your lifetime ~ nor do your children ever have to! As you can see, it is amazing how efficient God’s notification center is.
President Obama has the most sophisticated notification center in the world. He never has to worry about the light bill in the White House being paid, if his limousine is full of gas, or ever worry whether he’s missed a medical checkup. The sophisticated notification system that surrounds the president is always looking for future problems that could upset his schedule, his health, and even his family’s tranquility.
Let me assure you that the programming the Holy Spirit has put inside your tummy is much more sophisticated than the entire political system of the government of the United States of America. The system that God set up in you is so sophisticated that it actually knows your future, the amounts of the bills you haven’t even acquired yet, what diseases are going to try to attach themselves to you on your vacation, and even what your grandchildren are going to be doing though they haven’t even been born yet! This is how sophisticated the Holy Spirit notification center is.
God is so concerned about us trusting in His notification center that He tests us many times to see if we are willing to listen to His alert system. King Hezekiah of Israel was visited one day by ambassadors from the country of Babylon. But King Hezekiah did not ask the Lord about their visit. He did not turn their unexpected arrival over to God’s notification center, but instead just took care of it himself. After the men from Babylon were gone the prophet of God asked King Hezekiah, “Who were those men, and did the king show them all of the treasures that your kingdom possesses?”
Hezekiah answered the prophet, “Oh yes, they were from Babylon and yes, I showed them all of the treasures of the temple of God.” The prophet then said, “For that reason Babylon will come and steal all of the treasures from Jerusalem and take them in Babylon. But this will not happen in your lifetime, King Hezekiah.” Hezekiah was happy about that, but he did not realize that God was willing to fix problems that would happen to his grandchildren. This is how God’s notification center is working for you.
The point that I desire for you to see is that the notification center is activated when you, “Cast your cares upon Jesus.” You must ask Him to take care of the problem and then turn the application of worry off in your spirit. If you do not do this, then you are back trying to deal with each problem yourself.
I know the solution I am telling you here is almost too good to be true, but you must know that my family and I have personally been turning on our internal Holy Spirit notification center. And not only does it work ~ but it gives you the most incredible luxury lifestyle that you could possibly imagine. We are all close to vacation time. Why not rest in Christ, read Hebrews the fourth chapter, and let the holiday begin! See you next week.
