Monday Morning Blog: “Understanding The Holy Spirit’s Memory Backup System”

By Richard Gazowsky

Joy is one of the leading applications that operate inside your Holy Spirit interface. Understanding its ability to enhance other applications is the primary concern in our understanding of more advanced spiritual interfaces. The Scripture lumps joy with two other applications that are extremely powerful ~ love and peace. Most of us understand why the application of love is the most powerful of all, but right next to it is joy.

Joy is an application inside your spirit that has the unique ability of erasing all bad applications that have been tormenting you. For example, a young mother with an L’Oreal-style look wipes the slight perspiration from her brow as she enters into a San Francisco advertising firm’s conference room. For she had just noticed her little boy had spilt milk on her velvet skirt, her friend entering the conference room thinks she is making twice as much commission as she’s supposed to receive on the project.

Then suddenly her boss enters the room and fills it with stress because he wants final reports done now, though they are not due for two weeks. Not to mention the television that had earlier reported on a bad economic forecast, along with higher taxes, right after she remembered her husband’s mean uncle wanted to visit their house in the summer. After the stressful meeting was finally over she tore out of the office to go to escape to lunch. But unexpectedly her son called and told her a funny story ~ which erased all the earlier bad applications.

Let’s take a moment to analyze what happened. The spot on her skirt started running the application of pride, her friend stirred up the application of jealousy, her boss initiated hurry and agitation, the television enforced worry, and thinking about the ornery uncle caused dread and fear. But, lo and behold, the application of joy did the miraculous job of securely erasing the effects of all the bad applications. That is one level of power that you can see joy operate in, but let’s look at a new dimension of power from the same application.

Joy is also the faith attractor. No wonder Jesus caused the mourners to go out of the room where He was about to raise someone from the dead. And doesn’t the Scripture say, “The joy of the Lord is our strength?” Faith is the substance of all supernatural miracles. It is the driving force and power behind all of them. Joy is the magnet that draws faith to you. In fact, joy is so important it can change the entire future of a nation!

That is why evil spirits amplify complaints, worry, and agitation ~ never joy. If you can learn the secret of the application of joy, you will find it drives you into having the attitude of a little child, and with such a mindset you can receive faith that moves mountains. Yes, with this application running constantly in your spirit nothing will be impossible.

I have recently had inventions given to me by the Holy Spirit that have been so exciting, they have brought me back to dreams I had when I was a little child playing in my parent’s backyard. As I filled out some of the technical applications for filing the patents, I began to feel giddy joy bubbling inside my tummy. It was so exciting because it was feelings that I hadn’t experienced for 55 years! You can just imagine the primeval joy that was surging through my entire system. At that point I realized it was a fountain of youth pouring out of me.

Yes, this is what the application of joy does inside of you. Maybe when some of you read this, your erase app was so secure you actually started worrying about forgetting something. But remember the Holy Spirit’s notification center. If you ask God to worry about your problems, then you no longer have to. I agree it takes a lot of faith to do all this, but wow is it worth it because it really works! Let Him do everything for you!

God is the Concierge of all concierges ~ if you will let Him plan every day of your life. This is why the apostle Paul tried to get us to learn to rest in Christ: “For as long, then, as that promise of resting in Him pulls us on to God’s goal for us, we need to be careful that we’re not disqualified. We received the same promises as those people in the wilderness, but the promises didn’t do them a bit of good because they didn’t receive the promises with faith. If we believe, though, we’ll experience that state of resting. But not if we don’t have faith. Remember that God said, ‘Exasperated, I vowed, “They’ll never get where they’re going, never be able to sit down and rest.”‘ God made that vow, even though He’d finished His part before the foundation of the world. Somewhere it’s written, ‘God rested the seventh day, having completed His work,’ but in this other text He says, ‘They’ll never be able to sit down and rest.’ So this promise has not yet been fulfilled. Those earlier ones never did get to the place of rest because they were disobedient.”

Joy is the perfect release of resting. When you enter into joy your entire being is trusting God for everything. Just take a couple of days and test this application of joy. Let it run completely through your system for that relatively short period of time, and then watch the effects that it has on your whole life ~ and also how it attracts faith into your spirit. I think it’s going to amaze you on how quickly it accomplishes its goal!
