Now is the time for your eyes to be opened and to really see what the good news of the gospel is.
After Jesus faced His temptation in the wilderness with satan He went to His hometown church and recited this Scripture: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.” The word “gospel” is translated “good news”. To a poor person it is saying you are going to have money. You are going to have money to pay your bills, finances to feed your family, the means to buy a house, and wealth so that your family can live in peace. This, almost anybody can agree, is “good news” to any person that doesn’t have very much.
A born-again believer in Jesus, being baptized and filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, knows they are the richest person in the world.
After spending the last few days in prayer, meditating upon these sacred words that Jesus referred to at the beginning of His ministry, I realized the great power in their message. Scripture says, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.” When God makes you wealthy His glory is upon you, and you naturally become attractive to every one you meet. Solomon, the wisest man on earth made this observation about wealth (Ecclesiastes 9:13-16): “This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me: There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. Then said I, ‘Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.’”
Contemplate what the word of God says here. A good Christian can see someone saved, yet not experience the blessings of Isaiah 61 in their own personal life. Even though they help someone receive the wonderful experience of salvation, because they are poor and are still living in poverty, the person that gets saved by their influence becomes despised because no one wants to live in the poverty they see that Christian living in.
This is why satan has been so elaborate in convincing Christians they should be poor. Jesus was not poor. In fact, He was so wealthy that He had a personal accountant named Judas take care of His money. The garment that Jesus wore on the day He was crucified was so valuable that Roman centurions would not divide it, but instead they gambled for one of them to have sole possession of Jesus’ robe.
In Christ there is no condemnation. If you find yourself living paycheck-to-paycheck do not be condemned. The reason you are reading this is because Jesus is going to set you free. There is one simple secret to gaining great wealth. Listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd. Jesus said, “The sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger,” This is very important because you must hear God’s voice in your heart, and not through anyone else. Prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists are there only to confirm the word you hear from the Good Shepherd in your heart ~ but they are never the source.
The reason I am writing this very important message to you is because God has told me that He is about ready to pour down incredible financial blessings upon you. The money that God gives you does not belong to anyone but you. You must listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd inside your heart. Remember, “My sheep know My voice.” Practicing in prayer and hearing the quiet voice of God in your heart is so important to your journey to great riches.
For your money to multiply you must understand multiplication happens when the seed of God’s word grows in you. This truth is so vital and yet is so often misunderstood, so please listen carefully. Each day when you pray God will whisper for you to do something. That whisper is a seed that will grow into beautiful fruit when it matures. Money is not the seed it is only the amplifier (or fertilizer) of what God is asking you to do. But you have to be sure that you don’t fertilize the action too much. Be careful and only obey exactly what He says to do.
Sometime ago, my daughter Rocki was given a dream that I should buy some shares in the stock market. I prayed for a couple of months about this. Then, when my family was preparing to go to Europe, the Lord said, “Now go and buy shares of that stock.” After just a month, the stock began to rise significantly. Then, just before Christmas, the Lord said, “Sell those shares.”
On December 29, my daughter Misty was suddenly taken to the hospital where she experienced 15 minutes of not breathing ~ but God raised her from the dead! Afterwards she spent three months in the hospital, and the money that I made on the stock market paid exactly for the price of our hotel stay in Rome! Not only did God heal my daughter (and take care of the hospital bill by a miracle), but He also provided the hotel and food expenses while we waited for her full recovery. The blessings of the Lord made us rich and added no sorrow! Next week I hope to go deeper into this subject. I love you all.
