Times of Great Transition Demand Great Obedience

It’s harvest time, and this is causing a great transition to occur on the earth. Many years ago I received a prophetic word from the Chinese prophetess, Joy. She said, “Richard, you must communicate to the church about this great time of transition and how to prepare for obedience to God’s word during this time.”
God is fixing things in our American government and in governments around the world. The Lord is restoring the ancient landmarks and is bringing a New Renaissance, which means the whole nation is being born again.
The nation of Israel went through a similar time of transition when God gave them the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. This transition was so powerful that every courtroom across the world still uses principles from the Ten Commandments as their basis of law. When God is doing such a massive transition He also is very severe in His execution of justice. He must make it clear how important each part of the change is to the society that He is affecting.
For example, early on some ministers saw a man gathering some sticks to burn in his fire, but he was doing it on the Sabbath day. The men went to Moses and asked, “Is it wrong for this man to gather sticks on the Sabbath day?” Moses did not know the answer to this question because the Ten Commandments had just been given, so he went before God and asked, “What should be done about this man gathering sticks on the Sabbath?”
The Lord answered very severely and said, “Stone him outside the camp.” Wow! That was severe judgment, but God wanted to make it clear that He means what He says. During this time of transition, when God is establishing something new in society, He will have to judge extremely severely so that everybody gets the message loud and clear.
In the New Testament, we find this same severe judgement occurring in the early church. The church received offerings and people gave of their free will. Some people even sold their homes and gave all of the money to the work of the Lord. Remember, it was a huge transition that the church world was going through, and everything was brand new. In Acts 5, Ananias and Sapphira saw it as an opportunity to get some attention when they gave their offering. But they conspired to tell something that wasn’t true.
“But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, ‘Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whilst it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.’ And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
“And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, ‘Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much?’ And she said, ‘Yea, for so much.’ Then Peter said unto her, ‘How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.’ Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.”
As we can see in the Scriptures, God is very severe about obeying His word exactly. A transitional time is happening in America and in San Francisco, and is also going on with you. That’s why it’s a very important time for each of us to walk in the fear of God and be honest regarding every word and intent of our heart.  God has chosen our city of San Francisco for a great spiritual revival, and a place of true holiness. Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. We might see people that work beside us getting away with evil, but we must walk circumspectly in holiness before the Lord, no matter who’s watching.
Years ago the prophet Joy told me that God was going to promote us “monumentally” during this transitional time. She said there would only be a handful of people that would still be a part of our ministry, but every one of them would experience this monumental promotion. I love all of you and I prayerfully give you this instruction, “Be holy for God is holy”.
