When I was praying this week with great Prophet Timothy Snodgrass, he made a comment as our family ventured into a restaurant, “We need to get the beans, like Jack in the beanstalk, plant them, and climb the stalk into the clouds where our new houses will be.” His statement had more weight in the Spirit than just common words ~ it was prophetic.
Many times God uses stories, movies, and even fairytales to show us spiritual truths. As in this case with Jack and his beans, a word which God gives you may apparently have as much value as the wind that holds the sound of the words. Matter-of-fact, when Jesus told His parable about the sower sowing seed in good soil, He explained, “The seed is the Word of God.”
With this verse in my mind, I knew what Timothy meant. We need to plant beans that are seeds of the Word of God. These are what will grow the beanstalk that will lead us into the new adventures that God has for all of us at A Place To Meet Jesus.
Remember, the word of God is your seed. This word from God will be a new word that you have never heard before. Confirm it out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, but And most of all, believe it!
It’s just going to take one small bean, the Word of the Lord. When you throw it into the land of your inheritance, the Lord will give you everything that you have been promised.
We are truly the sheep of His fold. Sheep approach everything peacefully and trust the Good Shepherd in every single detail. This is where the sheep find safety. They never trust in their own cleverness, but instead lean upon The Good Shepherd. Every second of every day, let us listen and follow God.
Sent in love,
