Faith ~ The Backbone Of Miracles

Monday Morning Blog: “Windows In Time”

Faith is discussed so much in the Bible that sometimes we forget that it is actually a fruit of the Spirit (in other words an application that operates inside our human interface). The Bible uses many symbols to describe what faith is. Some examples are: a seed, something that is hoped for, the spoken word, a prophetic action, a mountain-moving force, and of course a fruit of the Spirit.

Something very real is that faith is actually a software application that must be run for you to experience its power and effect. Faith is a software that mixes with every application that runs in your system interface. For instance, someone can say a word with faith, but also without faith. The apostle Paul commented on this program ability of faith when he said, “the Word of God did not profit them because it was not mixed with faith.”

Another way to look at this, is that faith is a spiritual alloy that when mixed with the steel of your words becomes a solid framework that you can build incredible structures upon. Jesus said, “My words are Spirit and they are life.” Here He recognizes the importance of mixing faith in every word that you speak out loud.

This spiritual mixing becomes more intricate and intense as your words increase in power and an anointing effect upon situations. Words which you speak, that are mixed with the powerful element of faith, will multiply if you also add temperance, meekness, long-suffering, gentleness ~ and then joy and peace on top of them all.

This divine process is like a spiritual cocktail mix of all nine fruits of the Spirit, which empowers every word that is spoken out of your mouth. Now let us deal with the substance of these words that you speak. The apostle Paul said it this way, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

When Paul used “word” in this Scripture, it is the Greek word rhmea: which is translated as the spoken fresh word of God. This means that every word that comes out of your mouth with the power of faith, must be given to you fresh from God. Then your words will have the power of faith ~ creating and building everything that you touch.

Now I come to the real stickler regarding this subject: faith is not something that works by convenience or flows with your predetermined plan. Even Jesus the Son of God had to wait four days, until Lazarus was completely dead, for the miracle of faith to occur.

Let me take a moment and simplify the entire equation of faith I have been discussing. Wait upon God for every minute detail. Remember that the Scripture says, “Man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from God.” It is simply hearing and obeying. Faith is such an intricate operation in the technological realm of the Spirit that you must have point-by-point fine heavenly guidance assist you in every element.

To sum it all up: it’s the obedience of a little child. Matter-of-fact, the more intelligent, sophisticated, and mature a person is, the more their obedience needs to become simple, like a child. This is the faith that moves mountains, nations ~ even planets and galaxies…
