Pray God Stops The War

When God moves you into very powerful positions in prayer you will find that you must be very secretive about what you’re praying for. Jesus cautioned His disciples not to pray on the street corners where they could be seen and heard; “and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.” (NKJV) Over the past few weeks God has been dealing with me concerning intercession of this type. As I wrote in earlier blogs I had a vision four years ago of the spirit of Leviathan bringing violence and war to America’s streets. This week God spoke to me that the beginning of this time is starting. The forces of rioting mobs are trying to gather around our country’s colleges this next semester. I was shocked when I was given this word from the Lord, because everything looked so peaceful and tranquil. Even our college in San Francisco that has a well defined history of rioting seemed at peace. At first I rejected this word form the Lord, thinking I had misunderstood, but as the week progressed more and more messages were given to me, and I was told by the Holy Spirit, “This is the time for the church to pray and stop the war.”

A few weeks ago my wife Sandy had a dream that repeated itself all night long. The message was to pray that God stops the war. This week the Lord spoke clearly to me and said that prayer warriors need to do a simple prophetic act at their own local colleges. I saw a prayer intercessor just taking a handful of simple table salt, throwing it on the campus grass, and commanding in the Spirit that the healing waters of Jesus flow through the college campus. The Lord told me that his angels would do the rest. All we need to do is command it.

Let me explain to you what I mean by a prophetic act as the Bible is full of them. Joshua was told by the Lord to march around Jericho seven times, and the walls fell down. Moses was told to hold a stick over the Red Sea, and it would part. Jesus spit in dirt, put mud in a man’s eyes, and the man was healed. All of these are examples of simple prophetic acts.

I am asking you by the Holy Spirit to do a simple prophetic act with salt. We are the salt of the earth. The Lord wants you to go to your local college campus and pray that God will stop the war. I felt from the Lord that this was very urgent. A few minutes after God spoke this to me I received an email from a local San Francisco college. Something that a politician had casually said was on the national news. I printed the letter and it said me that within 6 hours huge groups were going to organize a movement and gather on local college campuses in America. I held the letter and asked, “How could this happen from a statement by a politician that appeared to be just a casual comment?” I realized local groups had been planning this for months and it was still months before the organizations would reach their zenith. Please do not confront or try to stop this. Let God stop the war.
