God operates with us many times on a “need to know” basis. The purpose of this is for our protection, especially when it comes to attacks from the spiritual realm that is always around us. It’s important for you and I to understand the necessity of letting all of the pieces of the puzzle come together. Being at the right place at the right time is so important.
The deeper you go into following the voice of the Holy Spirit in your heart, the more important a childlike attitude is. If you think about it, having childlike elements will make our fleshly thoughts (intellect and human understanding) give way to the exuberant fantasy world of childhood. This is the reality of walking after the Spirit that was spoken about by Apostle Paul, when he said, “Walk after the Spirit, not after the flesh.” I’m going to try to explain this concept, and then we will go on to how important it is to wait for all of the pieces of prophetic puzzles to come together.
It’s a known scientific fact that thought is faster than the speed of light. But truthfully, it’s usually children that experience the full benefits of the speed. As a child, it was so easy for me to imagine that my parent’s car was a submarine that could travel to exotic places throughout the earth. I would spend hours, day after day inside their parked auto in the driveway, imagining great adventures. But as I became older, those exciting experiences faded away into a very distant memory. They were replaced with my human intellect based on fleshly reality. I believed I would never visit that childlike state again. But now, in my late fifties, I’ve found that the innocence of that thinking is the solution to my ever-present future, as I gain authority in the physical realm around me. It is this spiritual mindset that has become the key to the events that are now occurring in my life today.
Jesus said, “Except ye become as a little child, you cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” This was not just a metaphorical expression, but was a statement of reality. The programming that God put into our minds as children is extremely important as to how we view the future events that will transpire in our lives. Be careful that you don’t put what I’m saying into a mental box of “daring to dream for the impossible”, because it’s not that at all. I’m talking about learning to let your childlike abilities follow the will and voice of the Holy Spirit. He is constantly trying to give you an incredible fantasy that will become your present reality. But none of this will work if you’re not continually communicating with God in a daily, hourly, and sometimes moment-by-moment schedule.
The issue that I would now like to present before you is how to put the prophetic pieces of the puzzle together. This is the process of God taking His apparently impossible instructions into the reality of life around you. But one problem most of us have is that we are constantly anxious. What God promises to do in your life seems so good, that you feel like you have to jump on it right away and get it done with your own energy. Oh what a danger this is, because your flesh has no power in the spiritual realm.
As soon as you begin to take control you start becoming like King Saul, when he gathered all the power around him that he gained as king, and then took control of the kingdom himself instead of submitting humbly to the perfect will of God. At any point, you have the ability to do the same thing King Saul did with your own life. And most of us, including myself, do it almost as a default. If we are to get deeper in God and follow the will of the Spirit, we must submit to His will at every level. Suddenly that childlike spirit will lead us into divine miraculous realms in every single facet of our lives.
When I talk about putting the pieces of the puzzle together, I mean every component coming together, with the integral parts of action and timing added to makeup the complete picture. So I don’t confuse you, let me bring you a reality example. My daughter and I have received many prophecies concerning her releasing a music CD one day. But the right time had never been provided through the prophetic words given by God. Some of those prophetic words had come as early as 2001. Over the last ten years more and more pieces to this particular puzzle began to come together. It wasn’t until the first of this year that God began to speak very clearly to us that now was the right time. But this wasn’t the complete puzzle. It was around this time that my daughter launched her website, RockiStarr.com, and we started filming music videos of her twice a week.
Though we believed the songs were given to Rocki by God, none of them seemed right for an album project. We only thought of them as short musical ditties that were perfect for the internet. But what was amazing to us was that nothing we were doing seemed to fit into any pattern we’d seen before. We continued to follow the voice of the Spirit, though it was leading us down a pathway that we were completely unfamiliar with. Then, when we were totally not expecting it, God told us to release a combined CD. I’d never seen this done before so I wasn’t sure what we should charge for it. But since the first pressing last week we’ve already sold one third of our inventory. Since then God has told us to do upgrades on the next pressing of the CD/DVD. (At this time we’re not sure what the upgrades will be but we feel they will be substantial.)
Again, what is blowing our minds is that nothing is happening the way industry leaders would say is normal protocol. But I’ve realized that the ever-present, and most important, ingredients in this whole process are the word of God, the timing of God, and obedience to God; to do it His way and not to listen to any contrary instructions that come from people who call themselves experts. For those of you who fear that not blindly following such people” is dangerous, I tell you truthfully such fears are completely harmless because they’re inspired by the enemy. The safest place for you and I to be is in the perfect will of the Creator of the universe. He made you and the planet you live in, and He knows exactly what will happen in your future.
God has incredible journeys for each of us to go on, so let Him put the parts of your life together in front of you, again, like pieces of a puzzle. When it’s complete you will walk into it and live a future that most people would consider an impossible fantasy. But for you it will be a reality of life. Go for it! It will be the funnest experience you’ve ever had. In closing, let me use my daughter’s latest song, “Sunshine”, as an illustration. Timothy Snodgrass sent me an email last week and said that while he was in the Spirit he saw Rocki writing a song about sunshine. The following Monday we drove to a mountaintop to pray about certain decisions we were facing. Afterwards, as we were making our way back down the mountain, brilliant rays of light suddenly broke through the clouds in the most dazzling display of sunshine. Inside the car Rocki spontaneously began to sing a song about sunshine. It sounded so cool that I immediately commented, “Rocki, you need to record that!” She quickly grabbed her iphone and excitedly sang an instant voice memo.
When we arrived that day at our local church’s 3 p.m. service, some young prophets began to prophesy. Suddenly one of them, Elizabeth Lanza, said, “Rocki, God is giving you a song about sunflowers this week because you are His sunflower child.” My family all started laughing because there was no way she could’ve known about the email Timothy sent me, or that Rocki had just written a song about that very subject! Rocki then told me that while she was working on the song she remembered a word that John Francis had given her earlier. He told her, “Rocki, you are walking on a long stony, barren roadway, and it is really dark and overcast. But the Lord is picking you up and putting you in a field of sunflowers.” Wow! And, now another piece of the puzzle has come together. For Rocki’s song has been completed and soon we will be bringing together our film crew to record the music video. Aren’t Jesus’ jigsaw puzzles great!
