In the history of mankind there was a moment where God needed to stop human synergy when it was happening on earth. This was when men said they would build the Tower of Babel. The ancient record in Genesis states, “And the Lord said, ‘Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.’ So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”
You can see by this ancient narrative that there is much power in the synergy of agreement. Moses declared this mathematical truth of the power of agreement when he said, “How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?” I have personally witnessed the power of this divine multiplication, have seen it’s supernatural power, and have witnessed it released in ways that are beyond human reasoning.
But the prophet of God, Timothy Snodgrass, expressed the key to it when he said, “You must be in the right place at the right time.” Right now the earth is in a moment of critical mass, when things could go very dark apocalyptically, or it could be the dawning of the brightest most wonderful day we’ve ever experienced! The key hidden factor in this equation is the secret prayer in the synergy of the saints of God. In the Scriptures we are told that just ten righteous could save the entire city of Sodom and Gomorrah. Of course this did not happen and the city was lost ~ and became a dead sea that witnesses to all of us what happens when Divine Synergy is not applied to a desperate situation.
